Pierre Raffanel is a composer of French origin, born in 1969 in Toulouse and currently living in Paris. He studied piano at the National Regional Conservatory in Toulouse and then as a self-taught accordion, helicon and singing.
Travelling around France, he is constantly looking for experiences of various and varied scenes: variety orchestras, military training, piano bars, pubs with group of rhythm'n blues, and jointly accompanying original compositions in different registers: French songs, French rock, realistic songs, musicals and children's songs, new jack, reggae, sega, merengue.

Since teenager, he has been composing notes that resemble him. His créations are meant to be multicultural, a syncretism of spiritual and music influences.
He regularly collaborates on the soundtracks of director Frédéric Kofman's short films :
The Red Skirt (2010) Ah If I was jewish ! (2013) For Sarah's love (2014) A few days with you (2015).
These CDs of wellness music, new-age and relaxation methods appear with the French label Dom-Forlane and the label Believe.
He co-wrote the guide to the best Driving " Zen au volant" book- CD published by l'Harmattan in February 2015.
At the same time, he musically illustrates TV spots, multimedia spaces, corporate films, teasers…
